Lake Havasu City, Ariz. — Alt/Indie Rock Band The Borrowers set to Release Debut Album ‘Semblance’ Amid Quarantine
The Borrowers debut album, ‘Semblance’ will make its way across airwaves this coming Friday, April 24th, 2020.
The Borrowers are an Alt/Indie Rock n’ Roll band based out of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. They connect with their audience on a deeper level, capturing a piece of the human sentiment in each of their songs. They draw influences from the works of Rush, Fun., Journey, Led Zeppelin and The Killers. The collaboration of Front Man Cameron Marin, Bassist Elliot Seidel, Drummer Jake Hoffman, and Guitarist Dylan Barnick make for a dynamic, progressive, and emotional experience with soaring vocals. Formed in late 2014, they polished their original sound in Marin’s parents’ garage. ‘Sweet Love’ , their first song, was written on their first day of practice demonstrating an instant chemistry between members.
“We have the most dedicated, loyal, and enduring fanbase on the planet. I am thrilled that we can finally give them a piece of ourselves to take home after all these years.,” said Elliot Seidel, Bassist of The Borrowers.
The band has since been expanding across Arizona through the following events: Mesa Music Festival, Arizona State Fair, Bel Sonique Guitars Showcase at the Helton Brewing Company, Chandler Battle of the Bands (Champions), and Lake Havasu Songwriters Competition “Songwriter of the Year.” The Borrowers have also established a presence in the Lake Havasu City Community through performances such as Christmas Under the Bridge, The Lake Havasu Balloon Festival, Buses by the Bridge, Lake Havasu Winterfest, Brews and Brats, and play regularly at various bars around the Arizona.
“We (The Borrowers) have fought hard for this release. We worked with several studios and had a finished album done last year. Unfortunately, friendships formed with the last studio we worked with fell apart. Our hard-earned work along with all of our savings were lost. It seemed the only thing to do was start over from scratch. It was very difficult and we had to gig vigorously to save up money and re-record our entire album. I feel we finally got it right this time and found people we could truly rely on. It feels good to have risen above it all. This band has shaped our lives in ways we never could have imagined. It is a privilege to have such an amazing time with my band mates on stage and in the studio. After this album, it’s on to the next one and we feel confident in our sophomore album’s fluid recording process. We want to personally extend an invitation to all our fans and would love to have them celebrate with us for this special moment in our band history”, said Cameron Marin, lead singer of The Borrowers.
The band will present 10 original songs for their debut album, Semblance. The album highlights 5 years of gigging, writing, recording, re-recording, and producing their unique, dynamic, and impressive sound, all in their small hometown of Lake Havasu City.
Their Single, World Turning is out now on all streaming services and online stores. The new music video is now on Youtube. Semblance is currently available for pre-order through online media stores: iTunes, GooglePlay, Deezer, and Amazon Music and will also be available for streaming through Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, and Anghami.
